Chlorine free
Free from the use of chlorine or chlorine derivatives.
Ecology

Ecology is the scientific study of the relationships that living things have with each other and with the environment in which they live.

Hydro carbon
An organic compound (as acetylene or butane) containing only carbon and hydrogen and occurring in petroleum, natural gas, coal, and bitumens.
Newsprint
Old newspapers and magazines that is disposed.
Non renewable resource
Natural resource such as coal, gas, or oil that, once consumed, cannot be replaced.
Office waste
Waste paper material disposed in recycling bins or from shredded waste within the office environment. Generally consists of copy paper, paper based envelopes and paper based stationery products.
Old corrugated cartons
Carton shippers (generally cardboard cartons) that have been utilised for purposes of handing, storage and transport of goods which has been disposed of after use.
Peel strip
Refers to plastic strip found on envelope flaps. Once removed, enables adhesion of the envelope flaps.
Post consumer
Material generated by households or by commercial, industrial and institutional facilities in their role as end-users of the product which can no longer be used for its intended purpose. This includes returns of materials from the distribution chain.
Pre consumer
Material diverted from the waste stream during a manufacturing process. Excluded is reutilization of material such as rework, regrind or scrap generated in the process and capable of being reclaimed within the same process that generated it.
